FL-6.5

The FL 6.5 is a very high performance 6.5 inch (165mm) diameter transducer designed for foreground/background systems and as a very high output mid bass driver for modern line arrays. Like all models in the Flagship Series, the FL 6.5 features a high ratio coil diameter to cone diameter to provide very high output and reliability. Coupled with a Neodymium based permanent magnet and edge wound rectangular allow voice coil wire, the FL 6.5 is a very small but very high performance driver.

The FL 6.5 is designed to be used in small format profession systems where high quality and high output are required in a very small physical space. This unique design, because of the high output magnetic system is also ideally suited for closely spaced midbass drivers in arrays. Arrays utilizing the FL 6.5 may be either direct radiating or horn loaded and the minimal physical dimensions make for a very wide bandwidth multi element array. In high powered professional arrays, the recommended bandwidth is 300Hz to 2000Hz. In direct radiator applications, the recommended response is 80Hz to 3000Hz.
